[if it were a threat against her, she could deal with it. She could manage better. But threats against Bail are different, especially when she knows she likely can't protect him herself, even with a lightsaber. Not from Darth Vader.]
Angry is an understatement. He's-- [well, she's made Anakin angry many times during her time here, and none of those were like this. A fresh spike of fear accompanies that pause, but Leia either isn't aware it's been shared or isn't commenting on it at all.]
He's irrational and a danger.
[but Qui-Gon. She can focus on him instead of everything that happened with Anakin.]
Master Jinn has been a help with all this. He's been the only one of them to take my concerns seriously.
[given not just Ben's existence, but everything surrounding her first meeting with him, from the setting to the reason for that setting to what was said. But those details are best not shared. Not yet, at least.]
He hasn't even been born in my time. I don't know if I would've believed it if Han hadn't been here and found out first.
[Because that would be far worse than anything Anakin might do to him. The room grows cold at the thought. He can take any threats to himself, just... leave Leia out of it.]
[Her response is immediate and forceful. Because Anakin hadn't physically harmed her, not here at least, and she doesn't want to worry him more than everything else going on here likely would.
She sighs before continuing. Because she knows just that answer won't be enough, not with something like this.]
He mostly yelled and paced around.
[Which was unsettling, particularly with the effects his emotions had on the environment around them. But that's not entirely the part that bothered her the most, as much as his anger wasn't quite like the anger she'd seen from Anakin in the past.]
He hunted me down, though. He's never done that before.
[Well. About that. Leia glances away just briefly, but her attention is back on Bail soon enough. She actually isn't sure how Ben would react to him. Nor does she even know where to begin with... literally everything else Ben does like.]
I can take you to visit him sometime.
[Because maybe that's better than her giving him directions and sending him off on his way.]
[Troubling, really, is putting it lightly. Because not even heading off to chill in the woods to escape drama will work this time, not when Anakin can and has used the Force to tack her down.]
He said a lot of things.
[Well, obviously. But as she gets into the specifics, there's a background buzzing of outrage and anger behind her words. Because Anakin has no right to claim any of those things when they were nowhere near the truth.]
He was focused on the idea of you stealing me and turning me against him. As if his own actions wouldn't alienate anyone with any sense.
[He's still not entirely sure what to make of Han, if he's to be perfectly honest. He doesn't know him very well yet. But in the end, only one things matters.]
[He's stubborn and loud and they may bicker somewhat often (even if they're working on that, thanks to Kylo), but everything else balances those negatives out.]
I know he's different than anyone you might have thought I would end up with, but I promise he's a good man.
[She understands that. As much as she would've liked to grow up with Luke, it's not hard to know why they did what they did.]
I doubt he's self-aware enough to realize that.
[Not that she's, you know, biased or anything.]
...He wouldn't tell me how he found out or who told him.
[Because somehow, him going months without realizing the truth made Leia suspicious about whether he would've put the pieces together without someone spelling it out for him.]
Sometime after the Anakin disaster post talking to Leia.
[Hopefully Bail doesn't mind getting a message out of nowhere from a certain Jedi. Which is exactly what happens one evening a few days after Leia informed him that he was here.]
Bail Organa, you have been surprisingly quiet.
I apologize for not contacting you sooner, but I honestly had no idea you were even here.
[ Well, blame a certain grandson for this message that will be arriving very late in the evening/early night hours. Anakin will merely make sure that Obi-Wan is asleep and won't notice that Anakin is making late calls. ]
Senator. We must talk.
[ This sure will be a fun talk... ]
Re: Sometime after the Anakin disaster post talking to Leia.
I had hoped... you were still enough of the man from before to see why. We did it for them. They were never going to be safe, but we could at least keep them out of some danger.
