There's a lot of confusion that's likely to sneak through because of his incredibly kriffed up family situation. Also guilt about the fact that he's concealing information from his castmates. And some fear that they might find out that information.
Happiness, too. His daughter is wonderful.
Memories
- Attending endless debates about the succession, ending in Jorus C'Baoth intervening and deciding Bail will marry Breha
- At the hospital during the fifth miscarriage that nearly killed Breha, and the fear that it just might. The doctor telling them that Breha is unlikely to survive another attempt.
- Personally seeing to the evacuation of refugees in the middle of a warzone
- Palpatine declaring an Empire
- Bringing baby Leia home to Breha
- Quiet conversations with Mon Mothma in the dead of night discussing what to do about the Empire
- Reading Leia a bedtime story
- Leia presenting him a formal petition against naptime
